Product details

Easily monitor your blood pressure with this digital sphygmomanometer featuring a clear LCD display. Power it with 3 AA batteries (not included) for convenient use.

Overview

The MaxMed Mercury Free Sphygmomanometer is a great option for accurately measuring your blood pressure. With its digital display and auscultatory measurement, it functions similarly to traditional mercury blood pressure monitors. Plus, it even gives you an over pressure warning with a flashing LCD top when your pressure exceeds 315mmHg (42kPa). Here's how to use it: First, wrap the cuff around your upper arm and place the wide head of the stethoscope (Not included) on your arm. Then, clip the pressure gauge to a stable surface. Next, tighten the valve on the rubber bulb and rapidly pump the bulb to inflate the cuff. As the pressure drops, use the stethoscope to listen for thumping or knocking sounds. The first thump indicates your systolic blood pressure, while the whooshing sound indicates your diastolic blood pressure. Make sure to note both readings as you use this user-friendly monitor.
